Marin Headlands offers great hikes that range from easy flat to moderate. My favorite is Tennessee Valley ( "d" shown above) to either Tennessee Beach or more difficult to Muir Beach. You can change your mind which trail half mile from the beach. Enjoy a brew at the Pelican Inn Pub before heading back. One person can go retrieve the car and drive to Muir Beach on US 1 (Pacific Coast Hwy.) or taxi back to the trailhead. Great coastal views along the trail to Muir Beach.
